OTROS MURALISMOS

 

Marcos Castro turns to muralism as an instrument for the invention of a historical imaginary. From a series of references to ancestral myths, he intertwines mythical time and historical time in a synchronic event of apocalyptic expression.

His work moves between the premises of modernity and postmodernity, between the universality of the work of art and the specific structures of drawing as a starting point for the materialization of a landscape of large proportions.
